Shenzhen is a modern, diverse and fast growing city in China’s Southern Guangdong province. Situated conveniently just across the border from Hong Kong, is it a great place to work and live.
More than thirty years ago, it was just a small fishing village called Bao'an County. In 1979, it was renamed Shenzhen City. Now, Shenzhen city is a popular destination for global business travelers, Chinese and International tourists.
Shenzhen has a subtropical climate known to be typically mild with plenty of sunshine and some rainfall throughout the year. Summer in Shenzhen usually lasts around 6 months, with hot sunny days and heavy rainfall during the Typhoon season. In comparison, winter in this city is relatively short with cool sunny days.
Shenzhen is young, purpose built city. It boasts striking architecture, an abundance of parks and open spaces, a new and constantly expanding underground metro rail system, a multicultural social environment and a wide range of exciting tourist attractions.
